Send your students on a “Secret Santa” shopping mission with a fun printable activity featured in our December blog post. Students will stick to their shopping lists and check off all the goodies as they practice adding with money in this festive, printable activity. Let the holiday shopping begin!
Use this free, printable activity to practice addition with money with your class in a holiday-themed shopping activity!
Students will refer to the “Secret Santa Market” illustration to check the prices of items on their shopping lists.
For each person on the shopping list, Mom, Dad, Brother, and Sister, students will find the items listed and add together the prices.
Here’s an example:
Mom’s Wish List – Candle + Scarf
Students will write down the prices of the items:
Candle - $8.99
Scarf - $11.99
Students will add the item prices together:
$8.99 + $11.99 = $20.98
The printable PDF file includes an answer key so you can easily check students’ work.
