Students will practice basic addition to twenty in this online math activity from iKnowIt.com. In this second-grade level math lesson, children will become familiar with basic addition facts to twenty as presented in ten frames, word problem format, horizontal addition facts, and vertical addition facts. After completing this fun, online math game, your students will be more confident and proficient in basic addition skills.

Children will solve a variety of math problems in this elementary addition game. For example, students may be given a vertical addition problem, like 8 + 1 =. Or they may be shown ten frames accompanied by a horizontal addition problem, 9 + 9 =. Students may also be asked to solve a word problem like this one: "Norah has 12 dollars. Evan has 7 dollars. How much do they have all together?" If children need a little extra help solving an addition math fact, they have the option to use the "Hint" button on their practice screen.
